Branding Recruiting Correspondence
Hello - we are on 9.2, Image 12 (Image 23 for Fluid Candidate Gateway), Tools 8.55.14. Our Recruiting team would like to know if anyone has been able to brand the correspondence coming from Talent Acquisition/Candidate Gateway. According to PeopleBooks, it looks like only Send Notifications are Rich Text capable and Send Correspondence are not. Our Recruiters are concerned that applicants may think the email is spam since it doesn't have our company branding on it. Looking for any suggestions or recommendations based on what others have done with branding and enhancing communications with applicants. I know Oracle has some on the roadmap, but in the meantime we would like to improve this functionality.
Thank you!
Thanks,
Kandi Thomas
Hi,
There is not much information on peoplebooks on this item.
Below link refers to all the delivered reports in Recruiting and there is section for BI Publisher report id - HRS_APP_LET
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E95227_01/hcm92pbr26/eng/hcm/herm/ref_TalentAcquisitionManagerReportsAtoZ-e3670d.html?pli=ul_d293e369_herm
There are couple of basic RTF templates associated with this report definition HRS_APP_LET, which can be used as base to model your notification.
Attaching a sample RTF template, i have used for a customer as a reference.
Also, below link in Oracle support, talks about how to include images in your notification emails based on BI publisher.
Can you point me to where I can
find this in PeopleBooks? I know that we can create branded
letters and that the notifications have the capability for RTE, but
I did not see where we could actually do that with the delivered
applicant correspondence emails. There is no RTE that I can
see online or in PeopleBooks.
Thanks,
Kandi Thomas

Hi Kandice,
Applicant correspondence in recruiting uses BI publisher based RTF templates for generating email content.
So they can certainly contain rich text formatting. Elements like URLs, formatted Signatures etc. are commonly used in applicant correspondence.
Feel free to reach out if you need more specifics on this item.
