No of records being imported?
-
Each users on server get fraction of server resources, it means more the no of users less the resource. So what is the server size?
-
How many concurrent users were connected when import was perform and what activities they were performing? e.g. couple of users were huge performing import/export then surely there will be delay.

Refer Oracle doc E1: GRID: What is the Import and Export Limit on the Number of Grid Rows with Excel, CSV, or HTML? (Doc ID 634561.1) for more details.

Import CSV functionality
We just moved to 9.2 and have had some issues with the import function taking 5-10 minutes to go from the Upload page to the Import Assistant page. Has anyone else seen these issues in 9.2?
@Holee Nunnenkamp
Not taking that long, but we do have issues and have to reset our settings. Have you tried that?

Yes this is still an issue for our payroll team especially when importing time via Speed Time Entry (P051121) or if importing time in self service (P5705125). I believe our accounting department is also having issues with the import feature. Most people rely on Copy and Paste but can also be slow when there are a large number of rows to copy and past.
Thanks for any suggestions you can give

Hi Holee,
Is the issue still occurring? If yes, is it specific to application or import type?
