With Chartfield Security in v9.2, can we set the security using different Chartfields?

| Does anyone know if we can use 2 different Chartfields to set the security - one field (Department) for one set of departments that roll up to one Operating Unit and another field (Operating Unit) for all else?

Along the same line, can we use a Operating Unit and Account Chartfields to restrict data access by Operating Units and range of GL Accounts - ie, a combination of Operating Unit and Account Chartfields? We would like to restrict access to Compensation accounts across all Operating Units, so that people in general cannot see compensation data for any/all Operating units. Can this be done? Does any one have this configuration in place for your respective organization?  If so, how - please provide configuration details. |
