We are running Financials 9.2 PI 22 with PT 8.54.23. We are testing for the first time the Chartfield Request process. The tree update status indicates Failed. I ran Tree Audit on this tree and there are NO issues. The Account is added successfully. If the account range does not contain the new Account it does not get added to the tree. If the account range in the tree does contain the new Account the Account is included in the tree but the "Tree Update Status" still indicates Failed. Oracle could not duplicate the issue. Their advice is to install 80 approval framework fixes and re-test. There is nothing specific in PI 23-25 regarding the Chartfield Request process.
Has anyone had this issue? How did you resolve it?

FYI - Problem resolved. "Reset tree node gaps" in Tree Audit fixed the issue. Even though the tree audit came back clean a HEUG colleague suggested running the reset anyway. I can now successfully update trees via the Chartfield Request.
