Hi everyone - does anyone have any experience in setting up overtime banks where the union requirement is that the same hourly rate must be used when the employee takes the banked time as was used to bank the hours?
For example - Bob banks 4 hours of overtime at $15 per hour ($10 per hr x 1.5). Then he gets a raise to $12 per hour and banks another 4 hours - now at $18. Then he wants to take 5 hours out of his bank and we need to pay 4 hours @ $15 and 1 hour @ $18. I am stumped at how to do this.. Any suggestions or recommendations would be very appreciated! Thanks!
