If so did you have to customize and to what extent? We know there will be some customizations just want to know what options I might have.
We have been using the delivered Compesation with both 9.1 and 9.2. We have customized the Compensation Cycle the most to accomodate our merit rules. We also have made some tweaks to Variable Compensation. We do not use the MSS features to request or approve ad hoc salary changes instead we have a customized solution that integrates promotions, demotions, transfers, etc. with position management and the compensation changes. We also have a customized variable compensation solution to award and administer our Management Incentive Plan. We purchased a Mercer product for Total Rewards. We are not for profit so all stock references have been removed.
We are not currently using the delivered PeopleSoft Compensation, but will be reviewing this functionality during our 9.2 upgrade this summer. Post-upgrade one of our next priorities will be to automate our compensation processes, and we will be evaluating several tools in addition to PeopleSoft delivered. I'm also curious, what other tools are people using, if not delivered PeopleSoft?
