We are configuring Journal Entry AWE and plan to require attachments (9.2 PI 22/PT 8.54.23). Journal entries will be created via the delivered Spreadsheet Journal Import or via General Ledger, Journals, Journal Entry, Create/Update Journal Entries. We customized attachments to limit the file size to 2MB. We will most likely customize to include only files types .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .XLSX and .PDF and maybe .CSV and .TXT as attachments.
If you require attachments, did you customize? What did you customize (i.e. the panel upon save, the journal edit program GL_JEDIT, etc..)? We thought about requiring the attachment upon Save but the concern is what happens to journals created via the Spreadsheet Journal Import. I see no option to upload attachments via the Spreadsheet Journal Import.
