Adding Digital Signature to XML File

Hi Peoplesoft Experts!

​We are on PT 8.54, PS FIN 9.1.  Is there any existing function or app package or any set of codes that will enable us to add Digital Signature to an XML File?

Background: We are planning to integrate straight through processing (payment, statements) with a bank. In this integration we are sending payment files in XML fomat to the bank via delivery channel , one requirement they have is to have digital signature included in the XML file.

Below is the technical requirement for the XML Digital signature:

• XML Signature uses the SHA-256 hashing algorithm

• The Base64-encoded file content will be present OUTSIDE the digital signature block.

Current process: We are generating payment files thru the Delivered process of financial gateway, we want to interfere and possibly insert a digital signature code during creation of payment files in XML fornat (e.g. ISO PAIN layouts)
