This is a question for HR users.
Is it possible to track history for the job entry and evaluation table (P08001)?
We are finding when jobs are re-evaluated, there isn't a way to track changes on the job master level. Changes can be tracked on the employee master but sometimes jobs are not yet assigned to an employee.
Supplemental data base could be a way to add notes regarding job changes, but is there a standard system function to enable history tracking?
If you access the Employee Organization screen then click on Form and selsect the JOb History & Tracking. It takes you to P050421. It's not the best but it does track. There are afew enhancements against this (one personlly by me)

Thanks Sherri. We do use the job history/ tracking but again it tracks history on an employee bases instead of job.
I will definitely follow the enhancement item progress.
We use the Job Supplemental Data base, we created data type JH and track changes that occur to our Jobs. JH (Job History)
Some of the Change reasons we track for example: Noc Code Change, Reclass due to Reorg, Reclass Mtnce Review, Job Title Change, etc.
It works well for us.
