PeopleSoft Payroll Processing Issue
I'm having trouble processing payroll using PeopleSoft, and I'm hoping someone can assist me. In particular, I'm attempting to handle payroll for a new worker who was recruited in the middle of a paid month. However, the system appears to be prorating their pay over the whole pay period rather than just the amount of the pay period that they actually worked, therefore it is not computing their earnings appropriately.
All of the setup and configuration have been reviewed, and everything looks to be in order. At this point, I'm not sure what else to attempt. Has a similar problem ever arisen before? Any ideas or recommendations would be highly valued.

Hi @Vivek Garg - are you using Payroll for North America or Global Payroll? What type of employee are you paying (salaried, exception hourly, etc.)?
