I am thinking of using a software product to amortize many prepaid costs such as licesnses and supplies instead of using Excel. Has anyone used the JD Edwards fixed asset module for this purpose. or any other software?
We have recently started using JDE fixed assets to amortize some of our intangible assets, including licensing costs related to a few SaaS solutions we use.
The fixed asset module is basically spreading a value over a period of time so it should work for any prepaid as well.
