I am trying to implement employee termination workflow, but I am running into bugs and obsolete functionality that is preventing some of the functionality from working. Particularly, I want an approval to occur before the termination takes effect, but that functionality appears to be broken.
I've opened some SR's about the functionality that is not working, but I'm curious if anyone is currently using the standard (or slightly modified) termination workflow.

We modified an employee status change(P08730) for termination data so there would be an approval. We use a user defined field for the termination reason code and move them to a "final pay status". We have an orchestration set to finish the termination 2 weeks past their pay stop date (we run payroll bi-weekly).
