Company Directory: How are organizations using it - vanilla or modified?
We are looking at rolling out the PeopleSoft Company Directory since our current solution runs out of support and the vendor will retire it.
As out of the box, there are gaps we have noticed, the most important one is related to dealing with Reports To, when the Manager position is vacant and employees roll-up to the next filled position making the structure look incorrect. Also, information like Department ID, Position Number etc. are pieces of that that are missing from Company Directory, as well.
We are wondering how are other organizations modifying the Company Directory and if you can share that information.
