Having issues with DPK in 8.57

I am posting this for a colleague. I also posted this to the Tech SIG group.
Having a problem with DPK in 8.57. We are standing up a pia only to add capacity. Its been 3 years since we last messed around with DKP and the majority of the experience left. I'm running into the same problem...While doing a puppet apply on windows, the ruby is running and spawns a cmd/java set for the weblogic server, then the ruby drops out orphaning the cmd/java. in the apply log I'm seeing this Puppet (debug): There is some problem accessing the status of Weblogic server PIA

Any thoughts/assistance is greatly appreciated.

@Matthew-Frigo We resolved this by adding two more cpu's to the vm. We are on Windows.
