CONTRACTS IDEA - WIZARD QUESTION DROPDOWN RESPONSES ARE LIMITED TO 30 CHARACTERS - EXPAND TO 60
Hey everyone,
I recently posted an idea on Oracle's Idea Space (https://community.oracle.com/mosc/discussion/4494885/contracts-wizard-pre-defined-values-limited-to-30-characters/p1?new=1). check out the details below and please vote this up if you are interested. Thanks.
The Supplier Contract Management module allows users to create a list of questions and attach that list to a contract. The answers to these questions populate fields within the body of the contract. As contract language is required to be very precise, it can be useful to create a list of pre-defined values that user can choose from when answering these contract questions. This functionality exist but it limited to 30 characters. That is too short for many organizations' purposes (i.e., the legal name for one of our colleges is 'Southcentral Community and Technical College' - 40 characters). The idea linked above is requesting that the pre-defined list functionality be implemented for longer fields (60 and possibly even 245). If that would be useful to your institution please follow the link and give the idea a vote. Thanks.
