Every time we do a tools update, we have support issues because the older JS files are still cached on the user's browser. Now we tell them to clear their browser cache but I feel we shouldn't have to do this. Currently it seems all JS files are being set with a cache-control header of about a month. I would like to change this header to be 1 or maybe 2 days. In IIS and apache changing this value is easy, but I am unable to figure out how to change it in JDE.
What are others doing to fix this issue that occurs with each tools upgrade or ESU? Does anyone know where to change the values of the cache-control header in JDE?
