We currently have an issue where a project budget is out of sync with the budget details in KK. The project budget details shows two funding row credits each for $807,500.00. While the KK budget details for that project show a credit for $807,500.00 (posted in September), and then a debit for $807,500.00, and another credit for $807,500.00 (both posted on the same day in November).
The project has a remaining balance in KK budget details of $12,715.70 with 794,784.30 having been spent. So, while the KK budget details shows the original budget amount of $807,500.00, the project costing budget details shows the budget amount at 1,615,000.00. The user is wanting to zero out the project to transfer the remaining funds.
I have two questions. First, how do I get the project back in sync with KK? Second, how would this have happened in the first place?
I apologize in advance if these seem like novice questions. I am a new analyst when it comes to PeopleSoft.
