How to manage non-grant projects for tracking only
I am curious of other groups currently manage project tracking in any way, specifically related to non-grants. For example, we just completed a 12 month PeopleSoft Upgrade Project, which touched a lot of different time entry, budgets, and expenses. It would have been beneficial to be able to review anything related to those by some chart field or tracking field. Currently we are also having to work with the Covid crisis and need to be able to track any purchase, expense, contract, time in T&L, etc. The only way we have figured to do this currently is to use our PCG module to create a Project/Grant, then create new combo codes for every new use as we have controls at a PCG level, and move money into the new Chartstring as it is used which is creating massive overhead.
