Enrollment Date vs. DBA Begin Date
We are using Enrollment With Eligibility to enter benefit enrollments. When we enroll someone in a plan, we would like the enrollment date to reflect the date that their coverage starts, but we want the DBA Begin Date to be the first day of the pay period after the enrollment date. We haven't found a way to make that happen.
We tried setting the Enrollment Start Date parameter on the Plan Master to "Start in the beginning of next", but that changes both the DBA Begin Date and the Enrollment Date.
I'm wondering how others handle this. Have you found a way to adjust the DBA Begin Date or do you use a different date such as the Participation Date or the User Defined Date to record the coverage start date?
Thanks,
Travis
@Travis Wendland We use DPTC for our Coverage Start Date and DUSR for Coverage End Date in Enrollment Overrides. We do not use Enrollment with Eligibility for manually enrolling and ending optional employee benefits.
