Secure Media Objects folder on a Windows server

We currently on JDE9.2 with an iSeries as our Enterprise server. For media objects, we opted to continue storing our Media Objects on the deployment server to save cost on iSeries Disk Storage. Our Media Object folder on the Deployment server has become a major concern for our security team.
Oracle has recommended that we convert and store our media objects in the database.
Question:
Has anybody come up with a solution or have recommendations on how to secure the Media Object folder on a windows server?
