Multi-ledger query

As a company, we are making an effort to reduce the over usage of nVision. One of the many justifications for having so many 3-tier nVision users is the need for them to have ledger to ledger compares by column and making modifications to them on the fly. Has anyone had any luck with recreating a similar nVision report in query that shows different ledger activity by column? Any work around for that? I have other requests that I need alternatives for, like the need to adjust Timespans every month in 3-tier, but I'll get to those later. Thanks

Have you tried using the Compare Across Ledgers Inquiry? This will allow you to compare a business unit across 2 ledgers. Most all of our reports show Actuals, Budget and History, so we don't need to make any changes on the fly.

Hi Alicia, I was not aware of that inquire. I am adding it to our security now. When you referenced, "all of our reports show Actuals, Bud….", did you mean inquiry or other reporting sources? Thanks a bunch!

Our nVision reports include the Actuals, Budgets and History. What changes are they making "on the fly". I would think you could create nVision layouts that are fairly stable and would not require everyone to have the client version of nVision.
