How I learned to Stop Using Internet Explorer and Love Chrome
Today’s ever changing web landscape is finally bringing about the demise of Internet Explorer and the ActiveX technology that is only present in IE browsers. This presentation describes some of the factors driving that, what in JDE behaves differently without ActiveX/IE, and how Wagstaff’s IT group dealt with Media Object Conversion issues when dropping ActiveX support in JDE.

Transforming the Operations and Maintenance Experience with UDOs
Columbia Crest Winery had deployed JDE Capital Asset Management (CAM) in 2017, but had challenges with the user adoption and usage of the solution. As part of a CAM reimplementation with Asset Management Solutions (AMS), Columbia Crest and AMS deployed numerous UDOs to improve the end-user adoption and usage of JDE CAM. This presentation will focus on many of the UDO types rolled out to Columbia Crest, as well as provide the audience with other valuable lessons learned from UDO deployment on other projects AMS has been involved in.

The evolution of the Port of Portland’s data refresh process over the years. We’ll share how the Business Analysts at the Port of Portland are able to refresh their JDE test environments in 15 minutes and the business processes that have been put into place to support it. We will also share the process and lessons learned with the just completed Fix Code Current effort, our first at the Port.
