Looking for whitepaper or Collaborate materials identifying best practice, best in class models of what system administration looks like in a SaaS solution versus on-premise. SaaS HR solutions are relatively new for our organization (last 5 years), and have typically been administered solely by IT. From my previous HRIS experience with other organizations, managing selection lists, forms, workflow notification, etc. the business (HRIS) had system administration access to meet the business' needs and ensure consistency / data integrity with the SaaS solution (ATS, LMS, etc.) and on-premise HCM system.
Any recommendations on material?
