BI Publisher - Inserting PDF into template

Checking to see if anyone has had a similar BI Publisher experience. We have BI Publisher Embedded.

RTF template set up
There is a need to dynamically insert a PDF doc into a section of the output when the UBE runs and produce 1 PDF.
Have checked Oracle support and saw a reference to using Java / PDFDocumentMerger but have heard this can only be done with BIP Enterprise.

Not a techie so hoping for an easy to understand response.

@Tracey-Clark Did you ever get a reply on this subject? We are trying to figure out a way to have contractor rates follow behind the PO as one .pdf document. We were wanting to attach the rates to the print message and have it grap the rate attachment to follow behind the PO.
