Lease Accounting
As the new Lease Accounting standards were in effect on Jan 1, 2019 for public companies, I'd like to understand who is live on or currently implementing the solution within JD Edwards.

Rebecca - The referenced bug is an enhancement request and is actually a very intrusive design change to the provided solution. It is not currently planned. Please be sure to go through Oracle Support to get your company's named added to it so that we can track the customers that need this particular functionality.
@Karen Brown We are planning on implementing Lease Accounting but we work on a 13 period fiscal year and have discovered an issue when using a 13 period data pattern. There is a bug logged does anyone know when this might be fixed? We plan on going live in December.
Oracle Support Bug 28328411 (ALLOW CREATE AMORT SCHED TO PROCESS FOR COMPANY DATE PATTERN) can be found at: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?id=28328411
@Karen Brown Hi Karen, we could talk. What times work best for you?
@Karen Brown we have a client live on peoplesoft lease accounting with about 3000 contracts and more than 300000 assets in portfolio. I can share our experience. We have tremendous success with the implementation
@Amber St John I could talk for about an hour on this (I am a functional consultant, and this is giving back to the community). What times would work best for you?
@James H Adkins That is very good to see. Would you have time to discuss your experiences with me?
@James H Adkins I should clarify, we are looking for a client implementing within Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets' new Lease functionality.
@James H Adkins are you available to discuss this with us? We are currently looking into the functionality and have some questions as well.
@Karen Brown Hi Karen,
We have one client that is working (not as they would like), we have our sandbox working (not to current ESU's), we have a second client that is finally moving to PD (one known issue that has a workaround), and a client I will be giving a demo to next week (they will have the 14 ESU's applied this week).
