Benefits for non-employees

Has anyone offered benefits to non-employees that were comparable to those offered to employees? If so, can you share how you set them up? Any lessons learned? These are not COBRA participants. There will be employer contributions the same as employees receive. We are just starting to investigate this and are wondering what others may have done.
