- Focus on getting as much data validated in the 3rd party system as possible before getting it to PeopleSoft.
- Apply transformation rules and crosswalk values in the 3rd party system if possible during export file creation
We are moving to a 3rd party ATS and looking for approach to import new hire data to Peoplesoft HCM 9.0? We will upgrade our HCM mid 2019, so this would be a temporary solution until the HCM upgrade is complete.
If you are moving from PeopleSoft TAM and assuming you have used the Manager Hire process, Interface should be created to write to Manage Hire records. The Prepare for Hire business process is relatively unchanged. The interfaces will not require major changes when HCM is upgraded in 2019 as personal, job etc record structure has not changed much between 9.0 and 9.2.
Both of these will reduce the need for staging the data for validation in PeopleSoft.
