The Agribusiness industry is comprised of a number of sub segments involved in the growing, processing, distribution and sales of agricultural products. Specific industry sub segments include; Animal Protein (cattle, poultry, hogs, eggs, dairy and aquaculture), Crops (grains, wheat, soy, coffee, rice, fruit, vegetables, citrus, flowers, sugarcane, cotton and tobacco), Timber and Forestry products, Animal feed & seed, Crop nutrients and pesticides. The German Oracle User Group (DOAG), founded in 1988, is an independent organisation representing the Oracle community and their interests within the Core Technology, Technical Solution, and Business Solution areas. The tremendous increase of members for the DOAG over the last years - actually, the DOAG has more than 5,000 members - has shown the still increasing need for such a users group and their goals and interests.
The Engineering & Construction SIG/IUG is comprised of WorldSoftware, EnterpriseOne and Enterprise software customers from both the Construction Industry (such as General Contractors and Heavy Highway Contractors) and the Materials Industry (such as Mining, Aggregate, Sand, Gravel & Asphalt Plants, and Readymix).
